2.5 Additional hardware
We have different additional devices on offer for your Bogart
SE system. This includes the Shuttle TT, the RenderBooster
and the Analog Audio Interface.
RenderBooster:
The main use for the RenderBooster is without question the
creation of DVD and Blu-ray disks in HD and SD format.
Arabesk 5 will then find the RenderBooster automatically if it is
inserted when the system is started (and the necessary activa-
tion code has been entered).
The RenderBooster is also used for the ‘Export Storyboard’
function. The RenderBooster takes care of creating very fast
and high-quality conversions. SD- and HD-projects can be
converted to the H.264.ts format, which can be played without
issues on PCs, Macs and media players. Additionally, SD-
projects can be exported in the traditional MPEG-2 format. The
data rate can be selected by the user.
Shuttle TT:
The Shuttle TT is an input and control device used mainly for
trimming and splitting and that will make your work both easier
and faster.
It cannot replace the trackball in all menus, but it does provide
a meaningful addition in many menus.
The Shuttle TT has 15 different buttons for navigating in differ-
ent menus and also a so-called jog-wheel. This function con-
sists of an external rocker (jog) with which you can fast forward
and rewind (e.g. when splitting or trimming) and an internal
wheel with which you can go frame by frame.
A comprehensive manual for the Shuttle TT gives you the nec-
essary support when using this hardware.
Analog Audio Interface:
This is small external piece of hardware that you connect to
your Bogart SE system via USB. This audio interface offers
you several connection possibilities for microphones or analog
audio sources. Via this additional hardware, you will be able to
record your analog audio with excellent quality in Bogart SE.
An additional output for headphones gives you simultaneous
control over the audio which is being recorded, as well as
the sound of your scenes and projects while playing them in
Bogart.
This product comes with a short explanatory note. In it, you
will find all necessary information for operating and connecting
the device.
